Ghostly Knoxville

My wife and I ventured downtown last night to take in the James White Fort Hearth Scares walking ghost tour. As an Orientation Leader at the University of Tennessee in my "younger" days I told many stories about ghosts and "beings" that stirred on campus. What I didn't know was that I only told a handful compared to the many you hear on the Hearth Scares tour. The most intriguing story of the tour, I'll only tell you one so I don't ruin your future trip, was the First Presbyterian Church cemetery tale. I did not realize famous people such as William & Mary Blount and James White were laid to rest there. Or, I should say, apparently laid to rest there. If you haven't experienced the tour I highly recommend it.
