Tokens of Appreciation

Running a non-profit organization has many benefits. One of those is getting to meet and interact with an abundance of wonderful people. Some are helpful, some are informative and some are supportive. I often struggle with thank you gifts never knowing what someone will appreciate as a token of my appreciation. Zen Habits released a list of 30 thoughtful gift ideas that may help with my dilemma. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Frame a picture of you with them.
  • Journal.
  • A nice pen.
  • A letter, hand-written on nice paper, from you.
  • A small plant.
One that wasn't listed that I've had success with is a piece of art. It doesn't have to be a Picasso but a small decorative paperweight will do the trick.
